In the beginning man lived in Eden/ so the story goes/ eating fruit of the trees and walking with no clothes/ Adam had the life living in paradise/ lounging in the garden with his beautiful wife/ no disease nor death for these were unheard of/ he didn’t work he just walked and talked with the beasts and the birds of the air/ until one day upon the ground came the snake/ who slithered up to Eve and convinced her to take/ of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil/ he deceived her and said they would become as God’s equal/ so she picked the fruit and offered it to Adam/ Adam ate the fruit that she had brought/ and soon enough God came strolling by and they were both caught/ banished from Eden/ sentenced to suffering and death/ to this day man must toil ‘till his last breath/ that’s how we got left in this mess/ we transgressed/ and the only way back is through the cross/ God bless.

Vigilante 02:51
[Intro] Vigilante he who keeps vigil diligently/ watch and pray lest they break through and take you/ stay awake dude high stakes they want to rake you/ make you break rules stay true [v.1] Vigilante out there fixing fences/ guard your senses the enemy is relentless/ repentance this is a game of inches/ you could die at any minute/ better be on the defensive/ for instance Lucifer fell in an instant/ (tell the Truth) the Truth was held in arms as an infant/ sinless and innocent suffering in the flesh/ in his love for mankind He put death to death [v.2] Vigilante you’ve got to be vigilantissimo/ believe me it isn’t meant to be easy/ even though you see so many slings and arrows/ narrow escapes Israel delivered from Pharaoh/ strange wonder! When mine eye saw evil/ I wasn’t cut asunder I was numbered God’s people/ lightning strikes thunder rolls souls are saved/ I’m old enough to say back in the day/ I started rappin’ zig-zaggin’ through traffic/ my strategy was such that tragedy struck/ my saving grace was faith in God ‘cause I was madly in love [v.3] Vigilante you can put the gun away/ it’s Sunday there’s one way to be saved/ some say come play we can run this the fun way/ hide the sun I’d rather cry until it rises/ new and burns through so you could purify my iris/ learn to fly and we can take off like runway/ some day wont be no gunplay/ post-apocalyptic when the eschaton bomb drops/ it’s clear you’ll know it’s near when I hear my first song drop/ penitential verses no curses a wordsmith/ hit you with the scripture till you get the picture [Outro] Vigilante they say you break curfew/ stay out late and fight crime at night time/ I write rhyme not quite my right mind/ my sightline inside my mind’s eye/ steady level on the devil till it’s my time to die

Ruthless 02:37
[v.1] Hey ladies listen up let me say my piece/ you made me crazy and it’s not just me/ my brother suffers too from being in love with you/ it’s the reason that I have a tattoo of a “w”/ a db bites and he gets beat deep/ it’s not a game I’m not a player I was playing for keeps/ for the rest of my life I’ll never play that part/ fall in love like a fool so you can break my heart/ if you’re a lady of grace take a piece of advice/ leave the poor boy be if you need to think twice/ I’ll never leave my place mistakes made me wise/ you couldn’t say the right thing to make me take me a wife [v.2] Rejection is a lesson in getting stepped on/ bend bounce back and take shape like flex-on/ the next one is gonna have to be a dove/ for me to even think about being in love/ it’s possible but not a thing to fight for/ end up in a hospital/ right up in the psych ward/ twice before/ they siphon the life force/ mark it as a catastrophic change in my life course/ I took it hard I’ll be scarred for life/ pain became standard a banner/ my stars and stripes/ far be it from me to lose respect for the woman/ even though she led me to the depths/ I give you credit for the breath I take/ my faith in God was manifest through desperation in the wake [v.3] With every breath I take a step closer to death/ hold on a second let me catch a moment of rest before I check out/ correct me if I’m wrong but where I’m going there won’t be a need for me to be alone/ I sit at home and contemplate where I went wrong/ as soon as I met you I shied away I should have been strong/ it wasn’t a long shot/ the truth is I was useless young and stupid/ what could I do? I was shot through by cupid/ what you did was ruthless/ who told you I was trampin?/ that’s a lie or at the very least a misunderstanding/ of course it could have been worse we only started to court/ you never took a vow or put me through a divorce/ you only took away my source of happiness and left me hanging down a dark alley looking for a way and I made it

God's People 03:15
[v.1] I’m drawing a blank/ I’m drawing on a blank page/ how did God create the world in six days?/ on the seventh day he rested on/ the eighth he resurrected/ come collect all souls elected to be perfected/ if I had a blank check with it I’d buy me a pearl/ I’d rather have eternal life than riches in this world/ not to mention fame which is the same as vainglory/ nothing changes through the ages it’s all the same story [chorus] God’s People are beautiful we have hearts that feel/ lay a treasure up in heaven where it’s hard to steal/ I work hard but still I don’t get no rest/ unless I take up this cross I wear (/bear) about my neck [v.2] Rhyme don’t come from the mind it’s from the heart/ I’m an artist unsigned very far from a star/ I got into this to change the whole world now its me/ who went from something to nothing I see myself play a part/ my role is specialized but I’m no doctor or lawyer/ I’m a warrior my sword is the spirit/ I’ll say a prayer and keep knocking on doors like no one’s there [v.3] I heard a seed fall to the earth/ back in time I was hurting/ outside of the Church it wasn’t working/ in my free time searching in my mind I was certain of one thing/ perfect as it was it was love/ and I wasn’t ready to settle for less/ you took a death on the cross to settle the debt/ you put the devil to shame and came back the third day for the sake of God’s People who believe in your name

Imagine 03:34
[chorus] I could have stopped but I didn’t I finished the last drop/ now I’m sitting in a cell repentance a life sentence/ on a journey through hell I had a vision of Gehenna/ Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner [intro] Imagine eternity burning in hell turning circles/ on a bed of pain screaming and boxing with demons/ I saw the sky turn color from purple to burgundy/ trouble breathing thinking I must be dreaming/ and I awoke all alone cold sweat made a phone call home/ it’s a blessing to instill the fear of death in me/ I must confess/ I must correct my ways/ there’s still time left to repent [v.1] I look back at my past life/ and wonder where I learned to act like that/ I mastered the craft of rap like the black kids/ affluence affected me/ upper middle class/ Christianity is coming under open attack/ you can’t fast without getting laughed at/ passions and pleasures are plastered all over the mag rack/ sackcloth and ashes to free us from our evil actions/ I see a need to free the people from the fascists/ I see a heresy packaged in plastic/ black arts and magic avoid that like bad traffic/ it’s no accident I’m so distracted at prayer/ I lack self-mastery because I’m halfway there/ and if I ran out of patience or medications I would break/ in that case Lord please come take me away [v.2] I tried to take a life/ why? Can it be I lost my mind due to pride the pagan virtue of vanity?/ court case had a hearing/ I was there with my family/ judge said guilty except for insanity/ now while I’m serving my time out/ come to find out/ Jesus Christ is the Way and He’s crossing my crime out/ He left behind a Church and we’re not dealing in fables/ the Bread of Life is what it is that we bring to the table/ after Cain slew Able he wandered the earth cursed/ but for me to be free I must enter the Church first/ I was immersed in the waters/ I was athirst for the teaching/ as I was seeking I sat at the feet of a priest preaching/ I sat at meat as we celebrated the feast/ elevated to heaven I finally found peace

D for diagnostic nuts I go coco/ voted the most loco/ notice I roll solo/ so slow I go below what’s posted/ doctor wrote me a note prognosis is hopeless/ in other words I’m so sick there’s no protocol to fix it/ but if I get a grip of this mic know this I’m fixin’ to rip it Next to the s for statistical like a mathematician/ once you’ve been given a number they plug you into the system/ they drug you in your own living room even give you assistance/ I went from put up resistance to an exemplary citizen Then the m is for manual like a bible to Christians/ they’ve got a name and description for every kind of condition/ like if you can’t pay attention then you can get a prescription/ I’ve been in to physicians since when I went off the deep end

Idle Tree 03:34
[v.1] I’m worthless a nervous wreck/ I go to work it’s a circus what’s the purpose?/ if its just for a check I’m a jerk I guess it’s what they call service/ on the surface I’m in step/ my reputation on the line so you bet I protect it/ I’ve been doing this for time so I know what’s expected/ 40 hours is a grind and it can get hectic/ so I try to keep my mind in a state of peace/ at ease I keep pace like state police/ I grieve because I see so much disparity/ and what’s more complete lack of love and charity [chorus] Go sell that thou hast and follow me/ one thing I know I was blind now I see/ I believe in Jesus Christ and this is light to me/ I guarantee the end of time will be a sight to see [v.2] They say money doesn’t grow on trees/ but it’s made out of paper/ you know what I mean?/ what’s the value of a life? I say its priceless/ and yet I took a knife into this hand that I write with/ please understand if you demand of me a sacrifice/ I plan to raise my hands up in the afterlife/ rap-wise I strike a balance in the midst of nonchalance when I flaunt/ it takes talent in the sense of something I shouldn’t vaunt [v.3] I’m worthless a nervous wreck/ I got to Church for the service every chance I get/ inside if I die I can resurrect like I never slept/ like I tell death catch me if you can/ better yet let me rest in peace/ the next step separation from the flesh/ indeed you can set me free/ I’ll be tested my enemy blessed me/ the night I got arrested my friends fled and left me/ I’ve never been dejected to such a degree/ three nights in the deep in the belly of the beast
8.
[v.1] In a perfect world there would be no locks/ only keys and cool breezes/ no clocks or late fees/ fish tacos by the sea and seventy three degrees/ palm trees/ never doing laundry/ just walk around naked nobody goes hungry/ no money no economic development/ wisdom is the trade but we’re not buying or selling it/ intelligence is irrelevant break it down to the element/ God is Love is Truth so why ain’t nobody telling it? [v.2] In a perfect world there would be no war/ these days so much haze can’t hardly see no more/ we’d feed the poor free the prisoners/ speak to the listeners and listen to the keepers of tradition like parishioners/ the mission is get rich in peace and joy no sorrow/ no worry for tomorrow/ no hurry you can borrow my car/ why can’t the world be like this?/ with injustice locked down tight like vice grips/ no gun knife or stick not even an ice pick [v.3] In a perfect world nobody is sad or sorry/ no such thing as hari kari and my car is a ferrari/ we all winners no sinners/ professionals no beginners/ you can eat what you want for breakfast lunch and dinner/ but check this out I’ve got a hunch that if I make it to heaven it will be better than that times seventy times seven for eternity/ certainly worth it to put the work in/ everyday I’m hustling hurting behind a curtain
9.
[Chorus] A song of praise to the reposed Seraphim Rose/ Hieromonk of St. Herman’s who was burning with love/ come see take eat read up/ pull a seat up/ set yourself free on the wings of a dove [v.1] Picture Berkley CA in the 50’s and 60’s/ there go the beatniks here come the hippies/ the counter culture and caddie corner to it sits Eugene Rose and Gleb Podmoshensky/ the revolution and you would be well advised to pick up an application and sign on the dotted line/ come on inside I want to make you acquainted/ for one of these fellows will one day be sainted [v.2] Everything I know I learned from Seraphim Rose who chose the good part and departed/ who chose to leave the world/ You drove out no doubt to give a shout out/ The trees heard/ The world ignored/ But I put my ear to the door of your cell from which came out the sound of clicking from an old typewriter from which poured forth streams of wisdom/ bringing the ancient Faith into the modern age and making it accessible to Christians of the last days/ And your voice has been heard/ It has reached the throne of our God and has become an acceptable sacrifice/ of praise/ of righteousness/ of purity of Orthodox doctrine and thought/ And we thank you and glorify the Lord who strengthened you. [v.3] Moving on with the blessing of bishop John/ Fr. Seraphim how can I praise you in song?/ You took the tonsure of a monk and died to the world/ a role model to follow you saw the city as hollow/ you saw the wild places in the woods as full to the brim/ and therein you took refuge and rescued the tempest tossed/ we were tempted when we lost you so soon/ no one could stop you/ born aloft on the wings of the seraphim/ there to dwell with the Mother of God and the cherubim
10.
[chorus] From passion to passion/ the path to everlasting life/ pass the mic if you think I’m nice/ think twice and act decisively/ for the life of me/ I can’t understand why you try to stifle me [v.1] It’s a new day dawn the start of a new day/ through the ages until the time full well came/ you could pray to God He had a name and place/ revelation enter into time and space our salvation/ full of grace and truth/ make no mistake of what He came to do/ are you a stranger to Jerusalem? You don’t know?/ the Lord was crucified died and on the third day rose/ He chose to it was His good will/ while the sun turned black and the earth stood still/ now it’s filled with light/ His blood was spilled/ and by virtue of this fact have we all been healed [v.2] Goes to show I’m so outspoken/ if it goes to blows you might get your nose broken/ from the Puget Sound around to Hoboken/ the Lord knows those who sleep shall be awoken/ in the last day there’s gonna be hell to pay/ pray now and maybe we can get a stay of execution/ tell Nate lay the track let me say the rap/ if one soul came to knowledge of the truth then perhaps I wasn’t deluded/ all you detractors refuted/ in the end it was proven I was just being prudent [v.3] Bow the heavens save now we pray/ any day now meet me on the clouds with my brethren see for they are far better than me/ I’m in debt let me pay with a severance fee/ bestow a blessing/ the next thing in the west wing/ four years out two thousand and sixteen/ in the meantime buckle down stay out of trouble/ hustle up on the double straight up out of the rubble/ the subtle one is meddlesome/ a sign of the devil son/ rebellion ones who settle in kellion/ the last frontier the wilds have been tamed/ mc faim came and went now I’m young penitent
11.
Heaven’s calling I'm falling and stalling out its appalling/ the shadow of my doubt is tall enough to wall me out of paradise/ terrified of death and so my soul will not rest/ unless I pass the test of judgment when my body resurrect/ life after death afterlife/ leave your body in flight/ rise from the earth like a kite and you might make it to the light/ or the prince of powers of darkness grab you by sins and offenses un-repented/ drag you down to hell to be tormented/ pain and suffering unbearable/ to your health it is hazardous/ you need to go read the parable
of the rich man and Lazarus/ on earth they drive mercedes/ but ain’t no mercy in hades/ nor purgatory like maybe/ heaven or hell please save me/ heavens calling

[v.1] Day one adversity/ we come from the university of run! run! Lets have fun! Undone we have become from the sum of all evils/ we go dumb and then we say “some people” [chorus] Did you judge your brother? That’s not lovely/ you don’t love your mother? That’s not lovely/ if you’re holding a grudge then drop it and reach forward towards…whatsoever things are lovely! [v.2] Don’t love money because that’s not lovely/ you might sell your life into the service thereof/ wherefore set your sights on the kingdom above/ and all the things of this world will be taken care of [chorus] Do you give up to gluttony? That’s not lovely/ are you getting drunk on bubbly? That’s not lovely/ if you’re taking those drugs then stop it and reach forward towards… whatsoever things are lovely! That’s not lovely/ If you pander to the flesh get off it and reach forward towards…whatsoever things are lovely! [chorus] Do you use curse words? That’s not lovely/ did you stop attending church? That’s not lovely/ if you’re doing worse things come off it and reach forward towards…whatsoever things are lovely!
